A patient from New Delhi, originally a resident of Pratapgarh, suffered from a CSF leak. He first experienced fluid discharge from the right nostril in 2015 (approximately 15–20 drops). A similar episode occurred again in 2020. This year, on 20 September 2025, while he was in the market, he again noticed a few drops of fluid discharge.
At night, he also felt liquid from his nose trickling into his mouth. The following day, he again noticed fluid discharge, which made him anxious.
He underwent NCCT PNS and MR cisternography, which revealed a bony defect measuring 2–3 mm. The report mentioned a suspicious small focal bony defect of size 2.3 mm in the lowermost part of the right lateral lamella.
The MR cisternography dated 3 October 2025 further revealed:
“A suspicious small focal bony defect of size 2.3 mm is seen in the lowermost part of the right lateral lamella, through which CSF signal is seen continuing into the adjacent right ethmoid air cells, suggesting the possibility of a CSF leak.”
He was advised surgical intervention; however, he was not willing to undergo surgery.
In addition to CSF rhinorrhea, he also suffered from gastric complaints, hypertension, sleep apnea syndrome, and joint pains.

After 1 Month and 10 Days
Dr Ravi talked with patient over the zoom call on3rd Nov 2025. He never observed CSF leak , only sometimes he felt leakage, but no drop was observed. He is also taking care that not stooping or not carrying any weight. His join pain also got better. Before our treatment he was taking multiple homoeopathic medicine Rhus Tox, Ruta, Bryonia, Arnica etc. He was advised to take any such medication. Treatment continued.
