Master Hahnemann has differentiated between true and false surgical diseases in Organon of Medicine.
We frequently encountered cases in the clinical practice who were told about the need for surgery like appendicitis, kidney stone, large abscess, fistula in ano, fissure in ano, piles, CSF rhinorrhea, Chyluria etc.
Homoeopathic if practised correctly and in the path of Hahnemann, gives us excellent results in many such diseases. If such diseases are cured, the patients are saved from the cost of surgery and post-surgical complications. At the same time, we should know our limitations and when to refer a case for surgery.

We received a call from Lucknow, where a father was searching for a permanent solution to his son’s Hirschsprung disease or congenital megacolon. His son has already got diagnosed. Ultrasonography revealed the diagnosis as Hirschprung’s disease.
