Academic Interaction During Patna Layover
While returning from the Kolkata Conference, I had a layover of nearly three and a half hours at Patna Airport.
I decided to utilize this time productively and visited G.D. Memorial Homoeopathic Medical College, located at East Ramkrishna Nagar, approximately 15 km from the airport.
Although the flight from Kolkata was delayed by almost one hour, the enthusiasm and curiosity of the students upon my arrival was truly heartening.
I shared some deep and clinically relevant insights from Materia Medica with the students and assured them that I would return in the future for a full-day academic session. During that session, I plan to discuss in detail the classical homoeopathic literature—from the era of Hahnemann to modern-day classical texts.
In this one-hour interactive lecture, I also explained clinical aspects of CSF Rhinorrhea and Hirschsprung’s Disease, and presented authentic, documented case studies related to these conditions.
The interaction was intellectually enriching and reaffirmed my belief that the upcoming generation of homoeopaths is eager to learn and explore classical knowledge with scientific understanding.
