Let me share with you a remarkable case of Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) rhinorrhea and Alopecia Areata from Kendrapara district, Odisha.
This case involves a 37-year-old lady who had been experiencing a clear fluid leak from one side of her nose for two months—a condition known as CSF rhinorrhea. In addition to this severe issue, she was also suffering from Alopecia Areata, an autoimmune condition characterized by patchy hair loss caused by the immune system mistakenly attacking the hair follicles.
