History & Diagnosis
The patient initially ignored the symptoms; however, as pain became intolerable, he sought orthopedic consultation at Amrita Hospital. After multiple investigations, he was diagnosed as a case of Ankylosing Spondylitis, based on:
HLA-B27: Positive
CRP: Raised
He was counseled that this is a chronic inflammatory condition and was advised long-term / lifelong medication with anti-inflammatory drugs. Despite medication, the fear of lifelong dependency and persistent stiffness deeply affected him mentally.
Homeopathic Evaluation
On detailed evaluation of the totality of symptoms, constitutional tendencies, and disease expression, the case was accepted for homeopathic management through Medicine Energy Transmission via Hair, a method particularly suitable for distant patients.

After 2 Months and 10 Days
At the follow-up consultation conducted via Zoom on 22 December 2025, the patient reported dramatic improvement:
Severe hip pain relieved
Morning stiffness resolved
Able to walk freely without discomfort
Recently completed a 15 km hill walk at Vaishno Devi, something unimaginable earlier
GERD symptoms improved
Hair fall significantly reduced

After 4 Months and 20 Days
Dr Ravi talked with patient over the zoom call. He is doing much better. Before our treatment, there was constant pain in right or left waist. He was unable to walk. Initially it was misdiagnosed. For his constipation and GERD he is taking some ayurvedic medication. He was advised to increase dietary fibre and avoid such medications which in long run will be making him dependent.

Dr Ravi talked with patient over the zoom call on 29th April 2026. He is doing good in the complaints of joint pain and stiffness. He complained about some respiratory trouble about which he got assured. His years long gastric complaints including GERD are also got cured.
After 8 Months and 21 Days
DR Ravi talked about the well being of patient for Ankylosing spondylitis, a so called incurable disease condition over the zoom call on 1st July 2026. He s doing wonderful with our classical homeopathic treatment. He reported that his back pain and joint pain almost gone. His gastric trouble is also better. We recommended to continue treatment, which he agreed.
