Buerger’s Disease is a medical condition of unknown cause, inextricably linked to tobacco abuse. It is also known as Thromboangiitis Obliterans and is a non-atherosclerotic inflammatory disease. This Disease got its name after its discoverer Buerger who discovered it in 1908.
This patient is the brother of a friend of Dr Ravi. One day, he asked if I could treat a case of Buerger’s Disease. While in a homoeopathic course under the Practice of Surgery, I read about the Disease and remembered the tagline in Beily’s and Love “Practice of Surgery Book.” It says, “You can either have your leg or a cigarette; you can not have both.”
This Disease is directly related to smoking, which must be forbidden instantly.
This was the first case at the clinic for this Disease, and I have accepted the challenge. The patient, when visited at the clinic, was carrying all the medical records. Medical records were of diagnosis of the Disease.
The patient’s condition was not good, and all the toes and feet became gangrenous(turning black). He was afraid about the amputation, as suggested by the vascular surgeon.
After a detailed case history, we have started the medicine transmission.
In the initial month, he didn’t improve much; hence, a new medicine got selected after the case restudy. The medicine transmission got changed from the clinic. The issue got recovered excellently.
