Surgical Diseases and Homeopathy.
Master Hahnemann has differentiated between true and false surgical diseases in Organon of Medicine.
We frequently came across cases in the clinical practice who were told about the need for surgery like appendicitis, kidney stone, large abscess, fistula in ano, fissure in ano, piles, CSF rhinorrhea, Chyluria etc.
Homoeopathic, if practised correctly and in the path of Hahnemann, gives us excellent results in many such diseases. If such diseases are cured, the patients are saved from the cost of surgery and post-surgical complications. At the same time, we should know our limitations and when to refer a case for surgery.
I do accept challenging cases and remember a case of CSF rhinorrhea cured in the year 2008, and that has boosted my confidence to take on tough issues.
One of my patient’s sons got cured of Hirschsprung’s disease last year, and I started taking cases of this disease.
This patient visited our centre in Lucknow from Basti. Many surgeons told her there was no alternative to surgery in this case, so they resorted to homoeopathy.
We started the treatment on 8 July 2022 after educating them about medicine transmission through hair.
Dr Ravi talked with the parents over the zoom call on 17 November 2022
They reported that they planned for the surgery as their child was not getting relief and constipation was painful. Every day the child was crying. Hence they decided on the surgery as the last report. They informed the clinic. Dr Ravi reviewed the case file and changed the medicine transmission from the Lucknow centre on 27 October to another medicine. Surprisingly the child started getting better the next day and is much better. He is passing stool regularly. The parents are happy with the treatment outcome and thanked Dr Ravi for the treatment by medicine transmission through hair. They thanked Dr Ravi for saving their child from a surgical procedure. Treatment continued.
On 23 December 2022, Dr Ravi talked with the parents over a zoom call. The patient is doing better and passing stool daily with some effort. The parents reported that stool is sometimes hard but better. They are happy with the treatment outcome and continue the treatment. The best part of the medicine transmission method is that the patients need not visit the clinic frequently; it saves their time and money. Moreover, they need not bother about taking the doses daily or often; in the case of children, it’s best. Homoeopathy has been alleged for a long that the treatments affect patients only psychologically, but in matters of the child (this case ), this allegation becomes self-null and void.
