Hemangiomas are benign tumours (noncancerous) that develop from blood vessels. Hemangiomas of the skin are often visible as red, raised birthmarks that generally fade on their own. Hemangiomas can also form on internal organs.
Hemangiomas happen more often in girls, premature infants, and multiple births like twins and triplets.
The hemangiomas of infancy may be visible at birth or may not be recognized until the first few weeks or months of life. Most hemangiomas are noted by 2 to 3 weeks of age. They can occur in any body area, but the head and neck are the most common. Some lesions are small and barely visible. Others are large and very easy to see. Most individuals only have one hemangioma, but some patients may have multiple.
The cause of hemangiomas is not fully known.
This case is of the Nephew of Dr Ravi. After a few months after she was born, red rashes started appearing at her right elbow. That proliferated and acquired a fiery red colour. The condition grew worst as the child kept her elbow in the flexed position.
A few of the blood vessels burst, and the ulcer formed. The condition was painful, and the poor child cried day and night. Dr Ravi started the treatment with few signs and symptoms and with the history of the mother. The child came to this world at the peak of the second wave of covid 19, and obviously, it was a difficult situation for everyone.
We started the treatment with the medicine transmission of Lachesis 0/1, but it didn’t work much for her. After a re-case analysis and brainstorming with available literature on homoeopathy, we changed the transmission from Lachesis to Calc Fluor 0/1
This medicine worked wonderfully, and not only did her wound heal gently, but also her area reduced rapidly. This case is one excellent example of how homoeopathy works irrespective of patients’ faith, as homoeopathy has been alleged many times.
