Introduction
Chyluria is a distressing condition characterized by the passage of milky urine due to lymphatic leakage into the urinary tract, often leading to severe nutritional depletion, weakness, and psychological stress. Conventional management, including dietary restrictions and invasive procedures like sclerotherapy, frequently shows unsatisfactory or temporary results, with a high rate of recurrence.
This case highlights the successful management of Chyluria using Calc Carb a deep-acting constitutional homoeopathic remedy, administered through the method of medicine transmission via hair.
Case Presentation
A lady from Etah District, Uttar Pradesh, visited my Lucknow centre with a ray of hope after suffering from Chyluria for nearly one year. Despite consulting multiple physicians and following conventional treatment protocols, her condition showed no sustainable improvement.
Initial Consultation
• Date: 6th October 2025
• Chief Complaint: Milky urine (Chyluria)
• Duration: 1 year
She reported progressive weight loss, increasing physical weakness, and generalized body pain. These symptoms are commonly observed in Chyluria, as essential nutrients such as fats and proteins are continuously lost through urine, leading to catabolic depletion.
Associated Complaints
• Persistent leucorrhea, adding to her discomfort and overall debility
She had been advised sclerotherapy, a surgical procedure involving the instillation of agents like betadine or silver nitrate into the renal pelvis via endoscopy. However, based on my clinical experience, such procedures often fail to provide permanent relief and are frequently followed by recurrence. The patient was apprehensive and sought a non-invasive, holistic alternative.
Remedy Selection and Prescription
After taking a detailed and comprehensive case history, including her physical complaints, constitutional weakness, and chronic disease tendency, Calc Carb 0/1 emerged as the most suitable remedy.
Calc Carb is well known in homoeopathy for its deep constitutional action, especially in chronic, exhausting conditions where the vitality is profoundly affected. It is often indicated in patients with prolonged illness, nutritional depletion, suppressed pathologies, and multi-system involvement.
• Prescription: Calc Carb 0/1
• Mode of Administration: Medicine transmission through hair
This method was chosen to ensure gentle yet effective stimulation of the patient’s vital force, without burdening the already weakened system.
Follow-Up and Outcome
On 17th December 2025, the patient reported for follow-up, and her improvement was highly gratifying.
• Complete absence of chyle in urine
• Noticeable weight gain; she had become healthy and chubby again—a positive sign of restored nutrition and vitality
• Marked improvement in general strength and body pains
• Leucorrhea had completely subsided, without any additional medication
The patient expressed great relief and satisfaction, both physically and emotionally.
Conclusion
This case clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of Classical Homoeopathy, particularly the deep-acting remedy Calc Carb , when prescribed on sound constitutional principles. The medicine energy transmission method further enhanced the therapeutic response, offering a non-invasive, holistic, and sustainable solution in a condition where conventional treatments often fail.
